Since 1953, our dental office has been serving individuals and families in and around Lowell, making us the longest-established dentistry practice in the area. And we have no plans of stopping anytime soon!
Formerly Reagan Family Dentistry, Riverside Dentistry has been owned and operated by local principal dentist Dr. Min S. Han since November 2022. Though our dental practice’s name has changed, our commitment to excellence in dentistry remains the same.

Dr. Min S Han
Dentist
Dr. Min Suk Han is the owner and principal dentist at Riverside Dentistry, formerly Reagan Family Dentistry. Dr. Han purchased the dental office in November 2022 and endeavors to maintain the excellence in dental care that has set our practice apart for decades. He is passionate about providing gentle, family-friendly dentistry to our Lowell community, and he is honored to lead our kind and experienced team.
In 2015, Dr. Han completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) program at the University of Michigan, ranked as the top dental school in the United States. He stood out in his class in both laboratory work and clinical experiences. After he graduated from dental school, he relocated to West Michigan to practice dentistry and quickly knew this was where he wanted to establish long term roots.
Over the past few years, Dr. Han has spent hundreds of hours on continuing dental education to keep up with new dental technologies, materials, and research. His clinical experience and continuous training enable him to provide a broad range of dental services including cosmetic dentistry, children's dentistry, crowns and bridges, dental implants, root canal therapy, dentures, tooth extractions, TMJ treatment, and clear aligners.
Dr. Han also values the art of aesthetics and always strive for exceptional aesthetic results without sacrificing functionality and longevity. He grew up in an artistic environment from a young age, and crafting and drawing have been second nature to him. He focuses his talents and techniques in dentistry, providing patients with their ideal smiles.
His goal is to care for your dental needs in the same gentle way that Dr. Reagan does. Dr. Han and Dr. Reagan share a very similar emphasis on long term relationships and conservative quality dental care for patients and their families.

Dr. James E. Reagan
Dentist
A lifelong resident of Lowell, Dr. Reagan (also called Dr. Jim) graduated from Lowell High School, earned an Associate’s Degree at Grand Rapids Junior College (now GRCC), then transferred to the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1984. Returning to Lowell, Dr. Jim began his career alongside his father, Dr. Robert E. Reagan. The team worked together until Dr. Bob’s retirement in 1994.
"It is a special opportunity to be able to return to work in your hometown. I am grateful for the chance I had to learn from my dad, and it’s nice to know so many of my patients. I am now treating the children of people I grew up with, and have been able to watch their families grow."
Reinvesting in the community has been a vital part of life for Dr. Reagan. As a resident, a businessperson, and a volunteer, he has watched the community grow and thrive. In 1997 he was honored as the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year. His community activities have included leadership roles on the Lowell Area Schools Board of Education, the Downtown Development Authority, the Lowell Area Historical Association Board of Directors, the Lowell YMCA Board, the Lowell Showboat Board of Directors, the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as in St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Lowell Rotary Club.
Dr. Reagan has also been involved in numerous professional activities and organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan District Dental Society, Kent County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has held positions on and chaired the WMDDS Children’s Dental Health Month and Fluoride Awareness Committees, served as president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer of the Kent County Dental Society, and served as a delegate to the Michigan Dental Association.
Married since 1997, Dr. Jim and Becky have three children and live in Lowell. All three children have worked as summer dental assistants in the office, and Becky assists with administrative work. Dr. Reagan enjoys golf, hunting, swimming, sports, history, and travel. He loves the daily variety in his work and educating patients on how to keep healthy smiles, and he is always happy to meet new patients!

Office Manager
I enjoy helping others and getting to know our patient families. I am married to Chad and we have two girls, Kalika and Kiara. On the weekends, I enjoy watching my husband race at Crystal Motor Speedway. You will also find me on the basketball sidelines, cheering on Kiara at Adrian college. I also enjoy traveling whenever possible and trying new food.
Carrie
Dental Hygienist
“My goal is to serve our patients with the best care in the most comfortable environment possible.”
Carrie has been a dental hygienist since 1990, joining the Reagan Family Dentistry team in 1998. She received her training through the Grand Rapids Community College Dental Hygiene Program. She loves traveling and hiking in the mountains whenever she has the chance. She has two wonderful adult children, as well as a husky named Yukon and a cat named Louie.
Julie
Dental Hygienist
Julie joined Reagan Family Dentistry after graduating from the Grand Rapids Junior College (now Grand Rapids Community College) Dental Hygiene Program in 1990.
“The thing I enjoy most about my work is the patients. They all feel like family. I enjoy getting to know them and at the same time providing excellent dental care in a safe environment.”
Julie loves the outdoors, gardening with her husband, hiking, and raising grass-fed beef on her family farm. She recently became a grandma and loves spending time with her new little one and the whole family. A little-known fact about Julie is that she's a sharpshooter who enjoys practicing her long-bow skills alongside her husband.
Patty
Dental Assistant
Dentistry runs in the family here! Sister to Dr. Jim, Patty worked as a dental assistant for their dad, Dr. Robert E. Reagan, during her senior year in high school. She joined the army after graduation and worked in an army dental office at Fort Hood, Texas, where she met and married her husband, a die-hard OSU Buckeye. They have been blessed with seven children and seven grandchildren. Patty enjoys bicycling, hiking, crafts, cooking, swimming, and entertaining. She has checked off numerous exciting bucket list items, including a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon, a tandem skydive from 14,000 feet, and bicycling down Pike’s Peak!
Paige
Dental Assistant
Paige has been a part of our team since 2016 and likes working at Reagan Family Dentistry because everyone is so kind and welcoming. She is currently working on obtaining her credentials as a Certified Dental Assistant, and enjoys reading in her free time.
